Parrot, Toucan and Hornbill
Parrot, Toucan and Hornbill skeletons, including a Night parrot, an Ornate lorikeet from the Psittaciformes order of birds a Spot-billed toucanet from the Ramphastidae family, and an Abyssinian/Northern hornbill and Souther ground hornbill from the Bucerotiformes order of birds. And, of course, a Red and Blue Macaw.
Pezoporus occidentalis, Trichoglossus ornatus, Selenidera maculirostris, Bucorvus abyssinicus, Bucorvus leadbeateri and Ara macao skeletons.
Note the elusive Australian Night parrot had been placed in its own Genus, Geopsittacus, but is now thought to be part of the Genus Pezoporus. Though once thought to be closely related to the kakapo, it is now thoughts that the night parrot diverged from ground parrots 3.3 million years ago.
